Pale yellow with a foamy, white head. Orange juice aroma, papaya, but also a faint hints of vomit, the latter though mercifully disappearing with time in the glass.Taste is bitter, a bit acidic at the end. Medium-bodied, moderate carbonation. Drinkable.

7 week old can A: Poured a huge dark beige head atop a very hazy deep yellow body. Excellent head retention and sheet lacing. S: Very fruity. Sweet tropical, powdery floral and light citrus notes. T: Moderately bitter citrus pith, juicy sweet/tart peach and green pineapple. A faint chemical/sour dank aftertaste. Almost cloying. M: Fluffy and full mouthfeel bordering on hop burn. Wet sticky finish. O: Good in all areas but outstanding in none. Just a bit too juicy and sweet to drink several.

From Feb 2006
Poured from bottle a cloudy reddish gold with a medium sized head of foam that dissipated quickly..
The smell is quite hoppy with lemony notes,
The taste is very hoppy with strong citrus tones that make for a very bitter attack on my palate but that's not a complaint from me. ;^) Solid APA.
Bottom line: Here's a very flavourful APA that only tips the scales at 4.85%abv thus making it a good candidate for a session beer. I recommend it.

I got this from a beer club sampler. Appearance is pretty fine, I see a dark amber with a lingering, almost white foam. The nose contains a woody, lemony scent. For taste I find a slightly hoppy edge along with some citrus and meadow, a metallic ending. A session beer so that kick is just not there.

Bottled (MT/KS/MB February tasting). Amber colour with a small off-white creamy longlasting head. Aroma is citrus, some mild fruits, nectar, mild spices and some sweet malts. Flavour is slightly toasted sweet malts, some fruity and floral bitterness along with a resiny and wooden finish. Easy going and easy to drink.

Bottle pour into nonic pint glass from Cigarette City. Appearance is mostly clear (despite the name), slightly hazy copper/amber with fair sparkle, finger-width foamy off-white head with poor retention and trace lacing. Aroma is dank, resinous hops and light fruit and citrus over malt backbone. Taste is similar to aroma. Palate is light-to-medium bodied with thick texture, lively carbonation and finish as taste. Overall, a pretty middle-of-the-road amber. This was a little old so likely lost some hoppiness, and thus some flair, but still fine.
