Train beer, straight from the can. Pleasantly bitter, yet not too dry pilsner, with prominent malt character and a mild, grassy and herbal hop profile.

Can from Beerdome. Nicely grassy and grainy with hay. Mild bitter and dry, medium body. Highly drinkable, very nice Pils.

From tap at Taplokaal Gist, Utrecht. Grainy with a nice hay aroma. Soft noble hop, light citrussy. Moderate bitter, fairly dry. Body is medium. Fine Pils with that pleasant unfiltered hay grain aroma.

Tap at Indewildeman, 6th October 23. Quick mini session, almost missed my flight due to it, but didn’t, so it’s all worth it. Pours golden and clear. Aroma is straw and hay, taste is bitter and floral, full, mellow, grass. Good

33cl Blik van De Bierkoning. Mistiggele kleur, witte kraag. Hint van zwavel, verbena, citroen, citroenrasp, licht grassig en iets kruidig, degelijk moutig, goed bitter. Lichte body. Valt voor mij onder een Keller dit. Goed.

Can 33cl. @home poured into a footed pilsner glass. Slightly hazy pale golden colour, good frothy white head, good retention, fair lacing. Aroma pilsner malt, grain, light lemon, grassy hops, yeast. Taste medium sweet and bitter, malty, yeast, grass. Light to medium body, watery to oily texture, soft carbonation, dry sweetbitter aftertaste, grain, iron notes, crisp, well-made without being that special, nice.

(Draught at Arendsnest, Amsterdam, 25 Aug 2022) Pale golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty nose with bread, grass and herbs. Malty taste with notes of bread, grain, grass, hay, citrus and a mild herbal/citric bitterness. Medium body, quite dry. Tasty and well balanced pilsener. Nice one.

0.33 l can from 'Het Biermoment', best before May 2023. Slightly hazy, golden with a thin, frothy, almost stable, white head. Slightly sweetish, gently grassy-spicy, moderately fruity-floral aroma of grains, straw and traces of lemon peel. Slightly sweet, moderately bitter, gently grassy-spicy and slightly fruity-floral taste of grains, straw and a touch of lemon peel, followed by a short, gently bitter, grainy and slightly dry finish. Almost medium-bodied, gently effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Okay!
