Aldi/Kalea Oktoberfest box, Brooklands branch. Aroma has a bitterness, hoppy, herby. Underlying bready malts. Clear light gold. Thin foamy white head. Flava takes the bitterness and adds sugariness to the dough. A citrus streak throughout. Light-medium bodied. Slick. Average-fizzy carbonation. Long dry finish. Big chewy lager.

Bottle. Liggles. Clear pale gold. Glossy topped firm white head. Nose is fairly standard sweet honeyed grain. Light rusk notes. Touch of herbal hop. Taste is fairly sweet up front with a light herbal bitterness. Feels a touch syrupy on the palate. Light bitter finish. Ok.

Bottle from Lidl in Uxbridge. A golden coloured pour with a thin white head on top. Sweetish, bready, malty taste and aroma. Quite thin and not a great deal going on here.

Tap at FOB, Rimini, Italy, as Falter Weihnachts Festbier. Pours classic blonde and transparent, with fine white foam. Aroma is honey and malty. Body and carbonation are average. Taste is medium sweet, but with a little of a candy feeling. Final is average.

Bottle picked up from Falter brewery in Regen and consumed at home Sunday 16th October 2022 listening to Gabriels - Angels and Queens Part 1. Pours warm gold with a clean white head. Some sweeteness, malty but there is a little bitterness trying to creep through, soft moutheel. A touch minerally actually metallic on the back end. First beer since COVID and enjoying but will sip.
