Desert Haze is a collaboration with Beer52. It's a hazy, sessionable Pale Ale chock full of Chinook, Vic Secret and Citra Hops. Fermented through with Vermont Yeast for a big sticky ester profile. Easy drinking but full flavoured and fruity.
Goes well with beer to your door and burning effigies.

330ml can. Cloudy gold, small white head, some retention. Grassy, citrus and sweet aroma but all understated. Quite tasty with grapefruit, citrus, a little acidic. A very mild bitterness in the finish. Its ok.

330ml can, thanks to Mark for this. Unclear gold, not especially hazy, thin white head. Tropical stonefruit, nectarine on the aroma. Taste sees mild stonefruit form a sessionable haze character, moderately sweet, some gentle jammy apricot glimpses. OK.

Can from Beer 52 Has a pretty overwhelming nose of lemon, lemons and yet more lemons ! Pours a cloudy straw with a frothy but transient white head. Lemons again in the mouth, but preceded by a strange metallic taste. And guess what in the finish ? Yup, lemons. The sort of beer I wouldn’t normally touch with a barge=pole ! I’m going to have trouble finishing this ….

[33cl can from Beer52.] A hazy pale straw coloured pour with a loose white head; aroma of grapefruit and melon; strong fruity taste, with lots of melon, and a slowly building herbal bitterness; leading to a tart, dry finish. An excellent, refreshing pale ale.

330ml can via Beer52; BB 10th Jan 2021. Drank at home while 'doing' a BBQ on 31st May 2020. hazy yellow body, white crust. Citrus aroma and flavours, a juicy fruit cocktail and like so many in this style, it did nothing for me.
