Draft at the brewpub; Nose is lightly smoked (did the Titanic burn or were are the Atlanic waters smoky from the coal fired boilers?), brown sugar, and caramel; clear brown with a medium lghtly lacing off-white head; flavor of light toffee, molasses, and smokiness.

Chestnut brown colour. It’s a bit cold to get much aroma...silly a brewpub serving such a beer at 4C when they have a 10C fridge as well. But what I get from the nose is a bit nutty with quite a bit of diacetyl. Flavour is pretty much the same - nutty with way too much diacetyl for my admittedly low threshold palate.
