Chewy and earthy with a rustic quality, and an extra astringency from the tannins.

Clear golden juice. Dry and wry, old apples, dry wood. Earthy, cork. Light sweet, a bit more sour and fairly dry & bitter too. Not my favorite palate but I’ll take it. 😎

500ml bottle BBE in 16 months. Pale gold, a little head which dissipates quickly. Sweet apple aroma, medium carbonation and body. A notable syrup texture on the palate. Taste of sweet apples and a distinctive dry finish. Nice but not as much depth as I was hoping.

500ml bottle from Waitrose Newport, Shropshire. Pours clear gold, aroma lightly sweet, oily palate, crisp light apple, distant syrupy aspalls notes, gently sweet. Not too bad just a bit dry and empty in feel.

33cl bottle at Palace Theatre, London, UK. Pours clear gold with very fine white foam. Aroma is delicate of apples and a little grape. Body is average, like carbonation. Taste is pretty sweet. Final is fairly long and sweet.

# 1592; 10/2019. Brilliant, yellow-gold. Aroma of apples, honey. Flavor is quite sour-sweet, sour cherry, slightly bitter. Moderate carbonation. Good, simple cider. 0,5 l bottle, eshop, Prague.

500ml bottle, 6.8%. Clear golden. Fresh apples, mildly sweet, didn't seem that earthy to me despite the description, on the dry side. Light bodied, steady carbonation. Ok but not really much to it.

Bottle at home. Clear light blond colour, not much head. Aroma is bit weird, bread, touch of apples, quite boozy. Taste is similar, apple and booze, bit of minerals, bit of plastic. Spritzy. Should probably have some nicer cider. --- Beer merged from original tick of Aspall Suffolk Organic Cyder (Bottle) on 09 Sep 2019 at 16:05 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 5 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 6. Bottle from Beers of Europe. Appearance - golden yellow with steady carbonation. Nose - apple skins and hay. Taste - dry and slightly sour apple skins. Then bruised apple. Palate - close to medium bodied. Dry, tangy texture. Dry finish. Overall - good.
