Brewed with 9 Kent bred and grown hops:
WGV, Early Choice Goldings, Bramling Cross, Progress, Target, Pilgrim, First Gold, Sovereign and Finchcock's Spirit of Kent
The beer pours golden honey with a white head of tight bubbles that dissipates to leave lacing around the glass.
The aroma is hoppy, lemony, honey, peach and dried apricots.
The palate is clean, with sweet malt, lemony and tropical pineapple notes, honey with zesty citrus notes. There is a dry lingering hop bitterness on the finish.
Brewed by Westerham Brewery Company Ltd. for M&S.

Bottle. Clear golden body with a medium white head. Steady carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of grass, pear and bread. Flavour of earth, straw and a sharp hoppy finish. Medium body with an oily texture. Light fizz. Simple and astringent. Just ok.

Clear gold, naturally. Barely a head. Served, by design, a lot colder than the label suggests. Nose has a decent balance it seems. Fruity, toffee malts, and fresh, nettly, green hop. Taste is much the same, although there’s an earthy element in there, too. Fresh and drinkable. Enjoyed this more than I expected to.

bottle from M&S Exeter. Golden with a decent white head and a very promising and alluring hop aroma. Light-bodied yet with a good malty sweetness to counterbalance the delicious aromatic hops, resiny, grassy and slightly fruity. Superb stuff!

Bottle from Marks and Spencer. Bicester, consumed at home Saturday 4th July 2015 This is a very typical British hopped twiggy beer, middling bitterness and whilst it carries a hoppiness, it is almost an apology for hops. I am not really a fan, it’s fruity with some caramel, but overall rather disappointing. A6 A4 T5 P3 Ov10 2.8
