Some rust, pine. Pretty hop forward for a red ale. Amber clear pour with ok head. Bitter end. Good body. Tap at summerside location.

On tap. Pours a clear brown-amber with a small, foamy, long lasting, off-white head that leaves soapy lacing. Mild, sweet aroma of toasted caramel malt, toffee and light nuts. Sweet flavour of toasted caramel malt, toffee, nuts and floral in a dry, mild bitter, grassy hop finish. Light body with a thin, watery texture and average carbonation. Easy to drink, but not great.

Draught at the pub, Meadowlark location
Amber color. Maybe some light caramel flavor and a residual sweetness, otherwise just a remarkable absence of everything. Boring.

A dark reddish amber ale with a thin white head. A light caramel aroma with light medicinal notes, lactic points. In mouth, a sweet caramel malt, with same light lactic notes, a bit nutty, and definitively off. At Oliver Square, Feb. 2007.

Dark amber. Not much carbo nor head...it looks rather flat. Not much nose. Mild caramel palate. Sweet. Could do with some hop and more carbo to liven up the caramelly body.
