500mil bottle in a Spatzi by Gorlitzer ubahn Station on 22nd January 2026. Shared with Margie while talking to the Turkish chap who fronted the place, his mate and an Albanian lady. Nice! Clean and clear golden body, white head. Crisp and refreshing little number. Better than the Helles that followed.

500ml bottle. Clear, yellow-ish, golden colour with average to huge, frothy, moderately lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Grainy and strawy, pale malty aroma, a touch of malty spiciness, grassy hoppy overtones. Taste is sweet-ish, strawy and minimally grainy, pale malty, some malty spciness, some grassy hop, moderate hop bitterness; lingering, bitter hoppy finish. Minimally oily, watery texture, smooth and soft palate, medium to fine, mildly prickly carbonation. Quite simple brew; definitely crisp, though plain bitter hoppy - OK.

Bottle. Hazy golden, white foam. Crisp grassy nose. Light body, a bit chalky and mealy. End on a doughy note with rust in the aftertaste.

Bottle: Hazy, pale greenish-golden, small white head, dryish grainy and herbal-grassy nose; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied, a bit fizzy; lingering bitter-sweet finish of herbal hops and a well detectable sweet pale malty base. Partly well crafted, but needs a better balance
