Bottle from SinH4, many thanks! Hazy golden with fizzy, white head. Earthy apples, leather, quite a bit of funk, some tannins. Quite short finish. Perfect cleanser.

Bottle from Tipsy in Brooklyn. Stemless wine glass @home. Clear, iced-tea colored brew. Not really what I think of as Rose, but I learned that's what the eventual name of the apple became. Stinky sulfur, farts, macerated apples, buttery popcorn, pear sweetness. Doesn't really dissipate much. Sweet, old & macerated apples, pear sweetness, solid tannins. Lots of residual keeved sweetness. Light barnyard. Salt. Oak. Soft vinegar. Rind bitterness. Maybe too sweet. Frothy, mellow carbonation. Somewhat tannic, drying. Too much sugar. Low mark for an otherwise solid cidery.

Bottle. Light cloudy straw, barnyard aroma (stolen from a friend), smells complex and sour. The flavor has some bit of sweetness, and a smooth transition from the farmyard flavor through apples to a crunchy-apple aftertaste. Very nice and drinkable!

Bottle. Cloudy golden, low greyish head. Nice and farty blue cheese and green apple nose. Medium light, barn, leather, hay, quite barnyardy, a hint bubblegum. Sparkly chewy light dry, very fun.

Bottle shared with the RateBeer Munich Tasting Group, Tuesday 10th December 2019 at Jonas's, Garching. Pours hazy yellowy gold, I agree with the others it's like a clean fartiness, buzzy, dry, clean but hugely refreshing. It's very good.

2018 bottle, many thanks anstei! Hazy golden color with white head. Aroma is leather, earthy, light roses too indeed, funky apples, lots of funk. Taste is leather, lots of funk, mineraly, dry finish, just the right amount of tannins in the back. Sparkly carbonation, lots of leather in the back. Great stuff, lots of character there!

Corked bottle, from Le Tonneau Verre, Yverdon, 6.1% ABV
Blond color, fizzy, no head. Nice aroma of apples, with mild sourness. The mouthfeel is very dry, with light apple flavor and light citrusy sourness. Simple.
