Slow gusher and difficult pour. Clear brown colour. Malty. Some toasted, roasted bitterness. Light hint of liquorice. Quite flavoursome actually.

500 ml bottle as Binkert Porter. Pours murky dark brown with a huge stable foamy head. Lemon, robusta and ground coffee, cocoa, iron, licorice, burnt malt. Sourness, sweetness and bitterness. Light bodied, watery texture, lively carbonated, dry sour finish. Alright, but too sour for my liking.

16-10-19 // taster from bottle. Trocken. Röstmalze. Milde Fruchtnoten. Sehr milde Säure. Volles Mundgefühl mir relativ hoher aber gut eingebundener Kohlensäure.

Bottle. Dark brown color. Roast, caramel and milk chocolate in the aroma. Malty sweet, soft roasty caramelly flavor with raisin.

From the bottle. Dark brown with an off white frothy crown. Aroma is dark chocolate with light notes of coffee. Taste is bittersweet up front, bitter at the finish which which is full of dusty charcoal. Body is to the light side of medium, carbonation is soft, texture oily to watery. Not a lot of depth but ok for casual drinking.

Drank in my Bamberg holiday apartment on 9th Sep 18. 500ml bottle; BB 19th Mar 19,obtained from Bierothek Bamberg. Nice reddy brown body, beige topping. Half Dunkel, half Porter, malty yet thin body wise, semi-sweet overall and just lacking in depth of flavour and body to be a proper Porter.

Many thanks for this beer to kevnic2008. Piwo ma srednia piane, slabo trwala, barwa czerwona, poczatkowo klarowne, lecz nieco osadku tez bylo. Smak karmelowo orzechowy, nieco ziarnisty pieprz wyczulem. Bardziej mi przypominalo swiatecznego dunkela niz portera. Mimo niewielkiej wytrawnosci i braku chmielnosci pozostawia po przelknieciu na dluzszy czas posmak karmelowy i wlasnie wytrawnej goryczki, a wiec wykonczenie jest tu udane

Flaske 0.5L hos Djoeye. Farge rødbrun med tett lyst beige skum. Lukt kaffe, sjokolade røstet malt. Smak kaffe, sjokolade, røstet malt. En godt avrundet porter med mild bitterhet
