Tap at the Annafest. Llight brownish body. Malty, nutty aroma, distinct green apple. Bit nutty, caramelly taste, some floral hoppiness. Okay!

Brauwastl Festbier, vom Faß im Maßkrug auf dem Brauwastl-Keller im Forchheimer Kellerwald zum stattlichen Annafest-Preis von 7,20 €. - Farblich eher dunkel; lockerer Schaum. - Nase tief gerstig-nussig-karamelmalzig mit leichter Honignote und kräftiger hopfenwürziger Hopfung mit bitterer Orange. - Antrunk schön herb-nussig, leicht toastig-karamelmalzig und kräftig fränkisch-hopfenwürzig mit bitterer Orangenschale. Tief gerstig, wenig süß, etwas Honig. Milder rezent, für ein Festbier nicht sehr vollmundig. Auch im Abgang gut bitter aber vielleicht eine Spur zu neutral. - Solides, unüblich hopfenherbes Festbier; läßt eher an ein etwas stärker eingebrautes Kellerbier denken. (28.7.2021.)

(tap, 100cl Stein @ Annafest, Forchheim) Quite discreet aroma of doughy pale malt and slightly flowery hops. Mildly sweet and slightly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a soft and well-carbonated mouthfeel. Slightly doughy pale malt character with floral and slightly grassy hops, especially towards the mildly hop bitter and slightly chalky finish. A decent Festbier. 25.VII.18

Großer Steinkrug auf dem Annafest. Nice lace. Medium light body, light chewiness, low but pleasant grassy and flowery hops on a light grainy base. Light orangepeel, some minerals.
