33cl bottle. Brown colour with minimal beige head of good lacing and perfect lasting. Aroma is sweet and caramelish. Flavour is moderate sweet, caramel and fruits are present. The final is moderate alcoholic and dry. Carbonation is medium to lively. Body is medium high.

Draught at Moeder Lambic, Brussels, for Zwanze Day 2011 as well as the Moeder vs Stone beer festival. Sampled on September 17, 2011Clear brown color, smallish brown head that dissipate in the glass. Sweet, malty taste. Sugar aftertaste. Moussy mouthfeel, low bitterness. Sweet malty scent.

Brownish / reddish colored beer with a brownish head. Smell malts and caramel. Slightly bitter taste, mostly also malts and caramel.

Bottled. A deep red beer with a brown head. The aroma has notes of malt, alchol, and straw. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and straw, leading to a dry bitter finish.

330 ml bottle. Amber body with a thin off-white head. Aroma of caramel, burnt sugar, malt and herbs. Flavor is sweet malty, caramel, dry plums and herbs. Medium body and a really pleasant beer.

Clear dark brown, small yellow brownish head. nutty, dark fruity slightly oxidized aroma, also some dark caramel and some malts. Considering best before on this one is 2 years earlier than the sampling date i’d say it have survived pretty well. flavor is caramel, malts, faint spices (i think i can detect anise amongst them). ends caramelly and sweet malty.

23rd September 2008. Dark brown beer with a small cream head. A little chocolate and a malt that is both sweet and sour. A little creamy and quite soft, just a little carbonation. Soft sourish finish.
