So it was with the wonders of technology that we've put in our headphones, done our zoomies and got to work on brewing the big hop belter we've been planning ages - Plausible Deniability, our leg of the Stir Crazy Solidarity series - and we did the DIPA.
The crew at Garage were pretty excited at the idea of pushing our mash filter to the absolute max to fit in as much soupy chew into this one as we possibly could, and it worked. This one's over 50% Flaked Oats & Wheat with a light sprinkling of barley for the normies. We packed our whirlpool to the max with Columbus & Simcoe, fermented it on London Ale III then double dry hopped this monster with Lemondrop, Sultana and our mutual friend BRU-1, an absolute favourite for both our brewhouses.
There's a lot going on here. It's big and chewy, feathery and creamy and is absolutely oozing lupulin glands from start to finish that'll leave you wondering what the hell you were doing with your life before you drank this.
This is a stone cold belter.

Fruitig, druiven, citrus, redelijke bitter, gist, gras, kruisbessen. Medium body. Niet de verwachte kneiter van deze 2 brouwerijen, maar wel lekker.

Can. Hazy yellowish gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Airy palate, mildly dry, good fine carbonation. Thin but reasonably sweet malts. Lightly spicy intro in to the hops. A light but pleasing lemon peel back drop from the Lemondrop hops. A mild touch of Bru 1 piney tropical fruits. Juicier lemony citrus on the back end with just a touch of peel bitterness. Starts good and grows and grows. Love those Lemondrop hops.

Can from Cork & Cask. Murky golden body with a thin white head. Low carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of lemon, dried mango and minerals. Flavour of peppery hops, cantaloupe, cucumber and plum. Medium body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. It’s fine but the booze is pretty evident in this.
