Bottle from Morrisons Supermarket, Moston. Golden with a small head. Certainly bready, but not overly so with a nice hoppiness available and a tasty light sweetness.

Foamy white head on pale golden coloured body. Zesty citrus & pale malt aroma. Medium bodied, foamy, frothy & cloying. Pine, citrus, lemon, herbal & light hopped tastes with a big fruity finish. Deece.

Bottle from Morrisons. Pours a clear light golden colour with a thinnish creamy white head. Aromas of citrus, white bread, caramel and fruit salad sweets. Taste has similar notes again with a malty backbone and some earthy hops on the smooth finish. Medium body, low carbonation soft fizz palate and smooth slightly oily mouthfeel. Decent enough beer.

[50cl bottle from Morrisons, Bracknell.] A bright pale amber pour with a trace of translucent head and light carbonation; fresh grassy hop aroma with a touch of orange; light toasty malt taste with more orange and a gentle grassy bitterness. Very summery, and very drinkable, but unexceptional.

Clear golden, very light white beer. Light, citrusy hop aroma. Hop flavour too, with some bittersweet citrus in and and a good, malty base and a nice amount of body too. Not anything special but a good example of a fairly traditional English golden ale.

500ml bottle: BB 28th Aug 2021. Drank at home on 30th Dec 2020. Clean golden body, white topping. Bready/malty nose and taste, light orange twist within the flavour. OK, but nothing too exciting.

Added beer. 500ml Bottle. Pours gold, small white head but no real retention. Aroma of very bready malts, and an overripe tangy citrus. Flavour again is very bread like malts although I wouldn't say it is toasted, it has more of a soft white bread vibe in the taste. Finish has that frustrating overripe orange citrus, it adds something separate to the bready notes which is vital but tastes slightly off. More flavoursome than most golden ales but wont be buying again.
