Gravity Dispense at the Battersea Beer festival, (Feb ’12). Pours a dark golden / amber colour with a very thin white head. Fruits (dried) and malts dominate the nose, a good all round earthy aroma, you just know that this beer has some bite in it! Rich fruity hop flavours in the taste, slight hint of apple and maybe a pinch of spice in the background? A full bodied ale, sticky in the mouth and a fairly dry finish. Overall not a ’hop bomb’ but a good earthy hoppy chewy beer, will re-visit in the future hopefully!

20th May 2010. On tap at the Rake. Hazy gold beer. Light white head. Slightly silky palate, a little dry. Well balanced. A little salty malt underpinning some spicy hops. A bit different and by the far the best beer I’ve had from Otley. Tasty and very drinkable. Well done Glyn!

(Cask at The Rake, Southwark, London, 19 May 2010) Dark amber colour with foamy, white head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of dried fruit and earthy hops. Malty, fruity taste with apricots, orange, caramel, dried fruit and lots of earthy hops in the finish. More than medium body, balanced sweetness. Nice, tasty and solid brew with a high drinkability for its relative strength. Nice one.

Cask. Pours an almost clear amber golden with a rough white head. Sweetish fruity nose with both distinct hops and alcohol. Quite full-bodied, flat, lots of caramel and fruit - quite sophisticated really. Warming alcohol in the finish. 200110
