Mild aroma, but nice earthy hops with light malts. Medium flavor with some floral and eaarthy hops. Light caramel malts, but nothing overpowering. Finishes with an understated bitterness. I could have a few of these in a sitting, but nothing exceptional.

Bottle. Poured orange with thin white head. Little lacing. Aroma of resin, pine and clove. Clovey flavour, with some pepperiness. Cotrus and pepper finish. Unlike most other IPAs.

Location: 12 oz bottle from Total Wine in Richmond poured into a pint glass, 7/6/09
Aroma: Light aroma, almost no smell to this one
Appearance: Lightly hazy copper color, almost no head
Flavor: Flavor is a little better then the nose, some fruitiness up front and a pretty light hop bitterness for an IPA
Palate: Kind of an odd finish that messes up the palate for me, decent mouthfeel, a little overly carbonated for my tastes as well, and somewhat sticky
Overall Impression: Wasn't a huge fan here, didn't really find the crisp refreshing hoppiness that I look for in an IPA, instead I got a beer with a limited nose and an odd finish to the palate. I'm usually a big IPA fan, but this is one of my least favorite IPAs that I have tried...Alright beer, but for this stlye? Eh...

Bottle: Poured a clear bright orangey color ale with a large pure white foamy head with good retention and minimal lacing. Aroma of dry hops with nice notes of floral aromas also noticeable. Taste is also dominated by some dry English hops with nice floral aromas with light caramel malt backbone. Body is about average with good carbonation. Very well done with great usage of Fuggles hops.

Bottle. Itβs a slightly cloudy beer, orange-golden color and a big, off-white head. Malty aroma with some citrusy hops, quite sweetish. Not bad, but boring, especially for and IPA. Too sourish on the flavor, and a bit on the caramel side. Malts, sugars and citrusy hops too. Low on bitterness. Effervescent and full-bodied. Grapefruity, bitter finish. Iβm not very impressed by this one, it might be past BB-date, sort of hope so, which can explain its aroma and flavor. On the other hand, I see I have rated it above average, so I guess I had too high hopes. (090221)

Bottle. Pours a cloudy copper with a medium sized head. Aromas are just not there. Flavor is weak, especially in the hops factor. This just isnβt a good IPA.
