Can from Beyond Beer, Hamburg. Aroma is richtly malty with caramel, stewed fruits, toffee, some nutty notes. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter. Body is medium. This Märzen is next-level: Malts for days and smoothly drinkable.

Can from Hop Shop Aberdeen. Deep golden body with a light haze and an off-white head. Lively carbonation. Faint lacing. Aroma of copper, dried leaves and earth. Flavour of lightly roasted malt and earthy hops. Medium body with a slick texture. Soft fizz. Flavoursome and well balanced.

Half-pint, tap at Alma, shared with Finn. Hazy orange coloured body, declining white head, clingy lacing. Mixed aromas of bread-like malts and apricot. Flavoured with dried fruit, biscuit, and ripe fruits. Slightly tart towards the ending. Okay, perhaps not in its best condition. (London 22.11.2021).

Can at home thanks to Fergus for ordering. Pours clear golden amber with a decent white cap. Aroma is caramel malt, toffee, grain, a little grassy hop. Taste is caramel malt, toffee, grain and a little grassy hop. Nice malty sweet hip. Solid example of style.

Can via CW. It pours clear orangey - amber with a fluffy white head. The aroma is toasty grain, doughy brown bread, malt sack cracker, woody, pencil shavings and damp grass. The taste is dry, toasty grain, some bitterness, damp grass, some spice, earthy, woody, brown bread, sweet doughy vibes, waxy citrus peel, floral accents and cracky with a drying toasty grain finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Decent enough, but wouldn't stand out in a crowd.

Appearance is amber, with a big fluffy clingy head. Aroma is caramel, toffee, malts, brown bread. Taste is raisiny dark fruit, toffee malt, blended fruit, juicy malt, caramel biscuit, bit of a sweet finish with woody fruit.
