Bottle from Sainsbury’s. Honeyed gold, clear with a tiny head. Honey and some gluey malt I the aroma. Tastes better than I’d thought it would: bittersweet with tropical fruit notes, turning exceptionally bitter. Harsh acidic note in the the short to medium finish, not a lot on the aftertaste. Drinkable although not all that.

Clear deep golden color with a fine thick off white head. Ok lacing. Looks gorgeous. A bit fruity, nutty and malty. Nice body. Ok bitterness and ok sweetness. Fine balance Average carbonation. Mild fruity, nutty, malty and herbal hoppy. Decent ale but not much American style here. Well it does not matter, but they want me to believe that by writing so in the label. Hmm some citrus popps up at last.

355ml bottle from Sainsburys, Shrewsbury. Pours clear copper with big foamy head. Aroma is fruity and resinous. Taste is fruity with pronounced biscuit malts and an almost cloying pine hoppiness. Ok but that’s it.
