Lots of dry fruity Weizen yeast there. Funky parts, wheat funk and depth. Very interesting, very dry, sessionable. Nice.

Vergoren fruchtig-hefiger Beginn. Dunkel, eher trocken, ansteigend hefig. Fruchtig hopfig, leider auch etwas Kaugummi. Mild herb. Noch okay. 8/6/8/8/9/7

Hazy yellow with a frothy white head. Aroma of pineapple, pine, banana. Taste is moderate bitter with a light resin kick. Goes down like a DIPA until the very finish, where the more traditional honey and banana sweetness of a Weizenbock plays out. Medium to full bodied, prickly carbonation. Far from traditional, a sort of Weizenbock on hop steroids. Not bad though.

0.33 l bottle from 'Craft Bier Bude', best before February 2021. Hazy, pale amber with a large, foamy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, fairly fruity, gently yeasty-spicy and a bit grassy aroma of lemon peel, pineapple, lychee, some banana, a touch of pear and hints of clove. Gently sweet, rather fruity, slightly grassy and a bit yeasty-spicy taste of lemon peel, pineapple, lychee, some pear and a touch of banana, followed by a short, slightly grassy, a bit yeasty-spicy finish with quite some hop burn. Medium to full body, smooth and slightly creamy mouthfeel, soft to average carbonation. Super hoppy Weizenbock, quite tasty but the hop burn is spoiling it a little. Good, but therefore not as great as Schneider's Hopfenweisse if one wants to compare it. Still great to see something else than NEIPA's from this brewery.

330ml can. Murky, yellow-ish golden colour with huge, thick, forthy to creamy, moderately to mostly lasting, moderately lacing, white head. Juicy, tropical fruity, hoppy aroma, notes of passion fruit, mango, slightly disguised wheaty malty and yeasty fruity hints of banana, a touch of banana milkshake; slightly ephemeral hop flavours give way to more banana flavours, some clove comes in as well. Taste is sweet-ish, wheaty malty, yeasty fruity, notes of banana, banana milkshake, tropical fruity hoppy hints of mango and passion fruit, some orange peel, moderate hop bitterness; minimally peppery spicy yeasty finish. Creamy texture, smooth and soft, minimally cloying palate, foamy carbonation. The Weizenbock part is rather simple, the hop flavours make the whole thing very much banana milkshake-like - funny stuff overall.
