Bottle. Color: Clear golden, white head. Aroma: Sweetish malt, sugar, caramel. Taste: Over medium sweet, malty, sugary. Sweetish caramel notes. Moderate bitterness, mostly at finish. Yellow fruit and coriander hints. Lightly barnyard feeling, although I can't exactly explain why. Bit sticky and syrupy mouthfeel. Medium body, slightly above average carbonation.

75 cl bottle from local Lidl. Label says "caramel flavoured beer" - promising, hmmmm... Anyway, this bad boy pours clear golden colour with an amber tint. A few white bubbles on top. Sweet aroma with caramel malts - as promised - yeasts, fruits, pilsner malts and floral notes. Taste is sweet. Medium bodied. Slightly drying finish with sweet fruits. Ok-ish.

Bottle 75 cl. Pours a clear, dark golden with a small, white head. Sweet fruity nose with distinct Belgian yeast. Rich, sweet, malty body - gets close to cloyingly sweet - with hardly any bitterness. Again very Belgian in style - a hint of cardboard. 030918

Bottle from Lidl, Carrick-on-Shannon [170618]
Amber, clear, frothy white head
Aroma of sweet fruity malts, soft yeast, odd perfume nose
Taste of sweet pale malt, soft biitter spicy, soft yeast, seems a bit artificial, poor flavour
Palate - Soft carb, medium body, light bitter. Finish is dry, soft spicy, slightly metallic, unpleasant flavour in linger
Overall - Only drink 1/2 of pint of this...tasted pretty crap to me

Sampled from 0.75 l bottle from local 'LIDL', best before September 2019. Clear, golden amber with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, musty, slightly yeasty-spicy and a little fruity aroma of grains, straw, some clove and a touch of peach. Rather sweet, almost sugary, minimally bitter, moderately yeasty-spicy and a bit fruity taste of grains, straw, vanilla, some clove, a touch of banana and hints of peach, followed by a short, moderately bitter, gently yeasty-spicy and a little sugary finish. Medium body, slightly effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Okay, just what you would expect for such a low price tag.
