De Six O Six is ons nieuw donker bier en tevens de opvolger van onze VanAcht. Hiermee zenden wij een SOS signaal naar de buitenwereld om de ziekte van Duchenne te bestrijden. De receptuur van dit bier is van onze goede vriend Gunther Bensch (brouwerij Montaigu, Scherpenheuvel).

Fles thuis geprobeerd met Roelzie1986. Het is een amberkleurig bier met een wit schuim. Het heeft een moutige wat zoete geur. De smaak is moutig, gistachtig en wat zoet.

Red brown colour with thin head. Aroma and flavour have lots of caramel and chocolatey malt notes. Dry and floral hop in the background. The sweetness of a Belgian Dubbel and the dryness of an English bitter. Good stuff.

Bottle shared. I always enjoy drinking a beer from this brewery due to the wonderful pictures of frantic over-excitable foxes running in all directions that are featured on the label. The beer itself is hazy amber brown with a small tan head. Aroma of malt, caramel, overripe dark fruits, light red fruits, light herbal notes and toffee. Flavour is above moderate sweet and moderate bitter. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Bottle. Pours very dark amber to brown. Ok white head. Smell is weak, bit sweet. Taste is rather bitter, bit malty. Some aspects of earthyness , but I wish it had more complexity and depth. Average beer . Average mouthfeel.

Bottle. Creamy off-white good mostly lasting head. Amber colour. Moderate malty and light hoppy aroma. Moderate biter flavor. Light sweet, Moderate bitter finish. Creamy palate.

Mooi bruin bier met stevige schuimkraag. Smaak is licht zoet en bitter met iets van chokolade en caramel. Blijft redelijk lang hangen.

Na afloop van het Pint Winterbierfestival in de bus met Frontaal en Ramses gestapt op weg naar ’Oproer Brouwerij’ met René achterin de bus. Na een ietwat wilde rit, aangekomen bij ’Oproer’ komt René de bus uitzetten met in zijn hand dit biertje, heeft ff wat lopen atten op de terugweg ;).. oranje/amber bier met witte kraag. aroma van mout, zoet, gist. smaken zijn fris, licht zoet, licht bitter, iig een dorstlesser voor achterin een bus ;)... --- Beer merged from original tick of Six O Six (606) on 15 May 2018 at 15:03 - Score: 6
