On tap at Ebenezers, Crewe – at 3.8%. Pours a hazy pale straw with a small white head and good lacing. Aroma has malts and floral hops – plus some traces of generic citrus. In the mouth it is sweet with corn, herbs and floral hops plus some hints of lemon. There’s a slight bitterness in the finish. This is Okay.

Some mineral. Taste is dry and lightly bitter. Clean and bright with high-ish foamy carbonation. Light dry and bitter finish.

Can at home in Hackney - sourced from All Good Beer HD. Pours clear yellow-gold with a modest, frothy white head. Fairly basic but drinks easy, with moderate sweetness, doughy wheat bread, cereal, straw, very mild yeast expression. Light bodied with average carbonation. Sweet finish, some flaked wheat, biscuits, hay, nips of lemon meringue, cereal grains. Fine.
