t's time to celebrate, and what's a celebration without Confetti Everywhere... are we right?? This Double IPA brings the party to your glass with copious amounts of Rakau, Vic Secret and Amarillo, giving it aromas reminiscent of a creamy Piña Colada! We brewed this beer with our house Kveik yeast strain to amplify the tropical nuances even further. In addition, we added generous amounts of wheat to accentuate a soft pillowy mouthfeel, which seals the deal on this package - enjoy the party!

473 ml can. Pours an opaque, turbid, whitish amber with full head. Aromas of mashed melons, papaya, orange juice, some forest floor, and wheaty malts. Flavors follow same, with sharp dank hops and citrus peel. Creamy and heavy up front with a grassy acidic finish. An Imperial Hazy.

473mL can, pours an opaque, filthy orange with a small white head. Aroma smells like a fruit shake, with lots of pithy tropical fruits, some dank hops, and sweetness. Flavour is really fruity and dank, with lots of tropical fruit juice, plenty of pith, dank hops, and some yeast soup. Pithy, bitter and fruity, though quite dirty. A little too dirty and harshly bitter, but it does drink pretty nicely given how filthy it is.

Can. Lots of dank notes, with big papaya and other such fruit accents. Pretty solid. On the palate, there's lots of bitterness, and quite a bit of fruit. The alcohol helps dry out the finish, always nice in this style. Good example.

Milky yellow body with modest foam, sweet fresh orange and pineapple juice on the nose, wet. Taste is chalky pineapple, muddy candied orange. ABV invisible, dry chalky finish but still missing that key layering that adds fullness to a hazy IPA. Still, it's all right.

A hazed yellow DIPA with a thin lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light tropical fruits, resinous dank hops, light pink grapefruit and fruity esters, pleasant. In mouth, a nice biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, light tropical fruits, very nice and rich. On tap at brewery.

2020-12-03, can from The Gull, North Vancouver, 8-3-7-3-15=36
Murky blond colour. Nice aroma, pungent fruit, mild tropical character, and citrus zest. Rather dry, it's not heavy, but the body is there; it has the usual oaty/wheaty base, a bit creamy and chalky, some spicy yeast touch, a good hop character (citrus fruit, some pine resins), and increasing level of bitterness, probably a feeling that comes from the yeast too. It's not bad, but it's the classic result of cooking something with too many ingredients, or inviting too many people to the party.

2020-11-13, draught at the brewery, 8-3-8-4-17=40
Murky blond colour. Strong juicy hops, maybe slightly muted; the kveik is mild, this adding a dimension without distorting the base IIPA. It's slightly dirty though (the yeast may highlight that).
