Mahognybrun klar med høyt beige skum. Lukter vanilje, trevirke, vingummi, kaffe og noe karamell. Middels fylde. Medium søtlig brunt sukker, kaffe og lett karamellsmak. Uten serlig bitterhet. Kort.

0,5 l bottle, nice label art design. Nearly black in the glass, mighty light tanned head. Smooth malty nose. Thin taste with malt, licorice, little bit metallic. Low bitterness and carbonation. Expected way more.

Clear brown, unstable offwhite head. Aroma has sweet malt and dark bread and hints of roast. Watery flavour, bittersweet roasted. Short, slightly metallic finish.

Clear deep auburn colour, large frothy beige head, dissipates slowly, light lacing. Sweet malty aroma, bread, roasted, earthy. Taste medium sweet, light bitter, roasted. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, aftertaste light sweetbitter, bit metallic, bit roasted malts, earthy notes, acceptable schwarzbier.

Fra flaske på Mandag i annen, Cardinal okt-14: vakker mørk rubinfarge med tett skum. Lite aroma, og det smaker mest malt - her har de spart på humlen. Lettdrikkelig, men blir dvask etter to slurker. Kveldens eneste intetsigende.
