Gravity cask from the Real Ale Classroom, Stoneygate. Dark red, clear and flat with a spot of off-white head. It's got a gentle oaky aroma, some malty notes, a little bit astringent. Sweet, malty taste with some sticky berry character. Some light bitterness near the finish but it's mostly a sweet beer. Flat, flat oily body. All in all a pretty good basic red bitter.
