NEIPA by this Dutch champion of IPAs (to my taste at least) and one of Holland’s foremost craft breweries in general. Thanks to Craftmember for sharing the can. Egg-white, cobweb-lacing, mousy, even creamy head, resting stable over a cloudy apricot blonde beer with deeper orangey tinge. Aroma of mango purée, tangerine, granadilla, guava, yellow kiwi, milk, dough, pineapple juice. Colourfully hoppy-fruity onset, lots of kiwi, mango and tangerine, medium carb, soft doughy core, somewhat creamy mouthfeel as it ought to be in this style; lots of vibrant, fresh (‘non-dank’) tropical hoppiness, passionfruit, mango, papaja and citrus (mandarin), with a light spicy bitter note in the end – yet no hop burn. Perfectly measured, elegant, completely flawless NEIPA – if they are like this, I can certainly appreciate a modern hazy IPA in spite of my nostalgic love for bitter and clean West Coast IPAs.

0.44 l can from a trade with markoijelena (thank you Marko!), canned in October 2020. Hazy, amber with a medium large, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish, intensely fruity and a little dank aroma of mango, green peppers, lychee and pineapple. Gently sweet, very fruity, fairly juicy taste of mango, pineapple and passion fruit, followed by a short, minimally bitter, a little dank finish. Full body, smooth and creamy mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Very thick and pleasant NEIPA, really fruity and juicy, quite good!

Can. Hazy orange pour. Aroma of sweet orange, passion fruit, pineapple, mango, oat and bready malt. Taste has oat, creamy orange, pineapple, juicy mango, bready malt and some skunk. Very typical neipa, doesn't stand out in any way, but not bad either.
