500ml bottle. Pours a dark orangey brown with a small head. Aroma is nutmeg, bread and cardboard. Taste has dusty cardboard to start with a nutmeg finish.

Bottle from one of the supermarkets. Lovely clear golden brown pour with a thin broken head. Very malty aroma which carries through into the flavour with a slightly metallic aftertaste. Lots of carbonation following the initial pour which does influence the taste. Leave the beer for a while for the best flavour and serve warm. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle at home in London with Lyoli. Pours clear, bright amber with a small, white foam head. Aroma has some Christmas spices, oddly enough, with toasted malts. Light to medium sweet flavor with more winter spices, definitely some cinnamon, lightly toasted malts, some moist wood, wet earth. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Light sweet finish with further cinnamon notes, more dry and toasted malts, some wet leaves providing modest bitterness. It’s an interesting beer. Decent, although would probably fit in better during the winter months.

Bottle courtesy of Barry consumed Sunday 24th June 2012 Amber with a white head, toffee in the mouth in fact a little banana toffee. Little dry in the mouth and just about as sweet as I expected. I don’t mind this, it’s better than I expected. A6 A3 T7 P4 Ov14 3.4

50cl bottle from Tesco. Copper coloured with a thin cream head; the aroma has some cinnamon mixed with leafy hops; some more cinnamon in the mouth, giving a warming feeling, but not overpowering the malts; the warmth carries through to the end, but is unfortunately accompanied with some rasping bitterness. This isn’t entirely successful in my opinion.
