330ml bottle from brewdog.com. Pours black with a silky rich vinous body and prominent sticky liquorice flavours and hints of coffee, although the honey took a bit of searching. Not big into this style but this was ok.

22.4oz bottle split with Anndiesel. Opaque dark brown body. Beige head fades away to just lace the rim and leave an oily residue in the middle. Guarana is in my top five for ingredients I would never add to be yet I’ve seen added. Not unlike a Dogfishhead offering....the not so good ones. Brown to black chocolate, coffee, but mostly a sweet tea herbal touch that is not a bonus at all. Not off, just a weak final product. Probably my least favorite Brewdog product I’ve had. The label tell the truth...this beer is not cool.

On tap at Mandag i Annen at Cardinal, a leftover keg from Nærbø Ølfestival. Very dark brown colour, moderate beige head. Pleasant malty aroma, notes of chocolate and heather honey. Rich and malty complex flavour, medium sweet, notes of molasses, chocolate and honey, hints of oak and smoke, moderate hops.

An almost black beer with a beautiful, dense, medium and beige head. The nose is very sweet at the beginning, but it’s also much more, caramell, some roastiness, honey, herbs and red berries, hint of heather. Taste is toffeeish malty with lots of raisins, nice roastiness, herbal hops dries. Overally, quite sweet, as toffee and raisins promises, but the taste is not too sweet. Medium+ bodied, not heavy. Quite sweet, but still rich of nuancess.

Aroma: The nose has some licorice, dark fruit, honey, plenty of roasted malt, and some chocolate
Appearance: It pours a brown-black color with a small beige-brown head and mild, spotty lace
Flavor: The taste is mid-plus sweet up-front, with lots of roast and some mild bitterness later
Palate: The body is fairly full, it is a bit sticky, with a fairly soft carbonation, and a lengthy duration
Overall Impression: This one is fairly sweet, but still pretty solid. There's a decent amount of balance among the malts, but there isn't much bitterness at all here. Overall, this beer is interesting, and worth trying, but it isn't something I'd want to drink all that often.

Olmost black with a Brown head - there are some roasted malt notes in a good aroma - very good malt body that starts out a little bit sweet but ends with a Nice bitterness from roasted malt - good roasted malt finish - This was very good

From a 75 cl bottle shared at home. Pours a clear amber with an off white head. Aroma of peach and toffee. Flavors of butterscotch and raisins. Moderately bitter finish.
