This ale is traditionally highly hopped and robust to survive the long voyage to the Indian sub-continent. The result is a full-bodied Pale Ale with a zesty character. Dark golden in colour, pleasing toffee aromas, and distinctive floral citrus flavours.

Bottled (5.5%). Amber/copper colour, mediumsized beige head. Aroma is hops, some spices and yeast. Flavour is bigtime hops with some grassyness and maltyness balancing it up a bit. Rather harsh hoppyness still kicking through the brew.

Bottled at Järnet, Stockholm. Clear amber, rocky head. Rich aroma of strawberry and hay. Dry and fairly slim, yet solid and vital. Notes of paper before a long, somewhat resiny bitterness. IPA in the American sense but with English hops. One of the better beers from St peters.

Lightly hazy golden-amber. Toasty nose is rich with English hops and abundant breadiness. Slighty sweet malt accent leads, followed by a rich herbal hop note. Nicely balanced with a smooth, rounded bitterness.

Fruity taste with orange peel, citrus and a generous bitterness resting on a solid malt foundation with nuts and toffee. Nicely balanced. Very nice one.
