Very fruity aroma of citrus, grapefruit, orange peel. Mildly bitter hops. Dry finish. This blonde scores no point for originality, but it’s good and I’ll definitely drink it again because I just love the style.

Bottle, brewed by Rodenburg Rha. Not blonde, but a pale amber color. Minimal head. Slightly floral aroma with some fruity notes. Sweet, almost sugary flavor. Low on carbon. Redsidual sugars. Floral and grassy hopbitter notes. Perhaps some mistakes were made in the brewing process?< Brewed by De Molen Bodegraven, tasted in 2006. Pineapple and a touch of yeast in the aroma. Flowery hops at first, totally matched by an abundant fruit character (orange and pineapple). Well balanced, very drinkable beer. 7 3 7 4 13 = 3.4

Bottle at home thanks to Ruuurd. As Oud zutphens blond. Slight hazy golden with fluffy white head. Bready malts, caramel, dark sugar, soft herbal hops, dry green fruit peels, fresh leaves. It’s surprisingly sugary with some ‘green’ hop notes. Light white grapes and 🥝. Quite sweet but also over medium bitter. Medium bodied. OK, though it feels like a much bigger beer than 5.5%

0.33 l bottle from ’Stadsslijterij Groenmarkt Zutphen’ as ’Oud Zutphens Blond’ at 6.2% abv, best before March 2018. Clear, golden amber with a medium large, frothy, slowly diminishing, white head. Sweetish-malty, slightly spicy and a little grassy aroma of caramel, honey, some citrus and vanilla. Sweetish-malty, slightly spicy and a little grassy taste of caramel, honey, some citrus and vanilla, followed by a short, quite bitter, slightly yeasty-spicy and a little grassy finish. Medium body, rather effervescent mouthfeel, average to lively carbonation. Classic, well-balanced and easily drinkable Blond.

Peperig, bitter, moutig-zacht. Gruizig en schuimig in de mond. Granig, doodgeslagen pils. Snufje as en één korreltje zout. Gaaf blondje! Backlog from 2015/02/20.

Bottle. Hazy orange color. Aroma of grain and grapefruit. Taste is creamy, fruity and malty, with grapefruit, bitter and biscuit. Amarillo is nice as always. Decent beer.

Bottle & tap, at Herberg De Gouden Leeuw, Bronkhorst. ABV 6.2%, brewed with premiant, saaz, amarillo and willamette. Tap rating: hazy deep golden colour, white head. Aroma of lovely floral hops, light malty, crackers, hint of citrus, resin, tiny bit of caramel. Flavour is resin, sticky malts, touch of caramel, floral hops, light citrus, increasingly bitter grassy finish. Light-bodied, full and oily mouthfeel. Really good. Bottled version is more mellow, still quite bitter, a bit more pilsner character.

33cl bottle from a colleague at work. Hazy dark gold amber with lasting off white head. Slightly estery yeast aroma. Settles down into a decent NL blond. Some dryness on the finish, some likeable hoppiness. Yep pretty drinkable and I like the dryness of this beer. Decent blond.

Tap @ Drie Dorstige Herten, medium sample. Slight hazy golden color, medium white head. Aroma of spicy yeast, grainy malt and bit grassy hop. Bit sweet, bit dry. Quite typical belgian blonde I would say. Decent drink.

14/IX/2012 33cl bottle @ home - BB: 9/I/14 (2012-1024) Thanks to Manon and Erik for the bottle!

Clear blond to pinkish orange beer, creamy white head, pretty stable, bit adhesive. Aroma: very fruity, clearly some American hops, sweet, almost candy like, bit of honey. MF: way too much carbon, light to medium body. Taste: lots of citrus, lemon juice, lemon drops, bit sugary, some grapefruit, sour pineapple, other citrus fruits. Aftertaste: pretty lemony, bitter hops, bit sour, grassy touch, bit of sweaty feet, mainly lemony. I would have guessed Citra or Amarillo. Turns out it is Amarillo, Saaz, Perle and Willamette.
