Dry tasting porter from Moorhouses, also with a hint of hoppiness in its character.

(Cask at Akkurat, Stockholm, 21 Oct 2011) Dark brown colour, almost black, with foamy beige head. Malty, roasted nose with notes of chocolate, dark bread and coffee. Malty, roasted taste with chocolate, dark fruit, raisins, caramel and a slightly bitter-sweet finish. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Smooth and mellow mouthfeel, well balanced.
