Bottle 0.33l from our archive, two years aged. Hazy, dark amber colored. AROMA- somewhat funky, quite fruity - pale plums, plums, strawberries, other berries, wood. FLAVOR- smooth, slightly sweet, slightly bitter, a bit funky, wood, fruity. Nice aged character. Fuller to full bodied. Nice one.

6.1.2022. Bottle via Malt Worm. Medium body, med-med-low carbonation. Medium bitterness, light sweetness, light warmth. Surprisingly clean and neutral overall, not much to be found here. Light nutty toasted maltiness, hints of caramel. Light wood. Light warmth. Neutral, inoffensive, but also kinda boring. Good but not great. 6,9.
20.11.2025. Bottle at Maly pivo. Med body, low carbo. Med bitter, med-light sweet, light warmth, light tannins. Medium woody, med dried fruits, raisins, prunes. Light biscuity, caramelly. Background hops. Elegant, moderately rich, quite good. 7,9.

# 2429; 3/2021. Strong vanilla aroma, oak barrel. Dark copper to pale brown body; tany head. Malty, caramely, roasty, vanilla, clovy, tannins; dry finish with alcohol warmth. Very untypicall, heavy woody beer. 0,7 l, bottle, beershop, Prague.

Bottle from Base Camp. Misty, dark amber-red, brownish body, off white head, heading towards beige. flowery, smooth, oaky aroma, slightly soapy, woody... a bit overly woody. Taste... dry, tannins, smooth, soapy, flowery... huh.... sweetish, but definitely the wood aging was fucked up, at least in my opinion. Thrown out of balance, too woody. Sorry, okay, yes, this is called Dřevo and all that... but this is not a well made wood aged beer. The base might've been good, but this was left overly long on the oak.
