4/1/2021. Sample courtesy of SHIG, cheers. Pours clear bright pale gold with a small white head. Aroma of lemon curd, dusty cardboard, vague sweet apple juice, Medium sweetness, lightest of bitterness and tartness. Light body, watery, low carbonation. A little more tart developed but really not getting this much at all. Maybe it's missing the hot summer's day.

Bottle: Poured a golden with carbonated fast dissipating white head, bubbles running up glass. Aroma is perfume, tart fruit. Taste is wet, tart fruit, big grain spends more time on the palate. Not much sour!

27th Jan 2020. Shrewsbury Beer Exchange in Chez Sophie, our first ever 'no alcohol' tasting. 39 different beers, we managed 26 before we bloated ourselves out, this was beer number 3. Big white head on the golden body, sour citrus notes in the nose and taste, not my thing at all.

330ml bottle during Dry January, watching The Irishman. Pours gold, small sheet of white atop. Lightly sweet fruity shades on the nose. Barely noticeable sour presence bringing a kiss of life to the soft fruity citrus.. not enough to be crisp or tart. It's light, but not off-puttingly thin. Just a breezy nondescript DryJan beer with just enough fruity moments to be fine.

Bottle from the Grumpy Goat, Reading. My first from this brewery. Pale amber, no head and a barely-there fizz. Sweetcorn, corn flakes, lemon and lime squash, tap water and a hint of ginger powder. Mainly sweet with a touch of tartness and some dryness in the finish. Quite thin. There's some interest here, but there's just too much of a corn taste for it to be enjoyable. I'd heard good things about this brewery, which made this beer doubly disappointing.
