50cl bottle. Hazy opaque orange color with a huge off-white head that diminishes fairly quickly. Smell wheat and lightly banana. Taste wheat, banana and sweetness. Low to medium carbonation, a bit low bodied.

500ml bottle. Hazy dark golden to amber colour with huge, firm, frothy to creamy, white to off-white head. Wheaty and slightly fruity aroma with an apple note, a spicy and frowsty touch. Taste is minimally tart and sweet wheaty, a touch of overripe apple, some yeast. An allusion and reminiscence of autumn, harvest, cellaring.

Hazy yellow color/ white head. Big pungent clove, ripe banana aromas. Nice sweet n’ spicy clove, banana flavors with a solid, smooth pale wheat malty base. A good Hefeweizen.

Bottle from The Bottle Shop, Canterbury left over from Kent BF 2012. Cloudy mid brown with thick beige head. Aroma of a weizen at least. Some esters. Some cereal some lemon some bubblegum. Nothing too heavy but the higher ABV does give it some body and a warmth on the way down. It’s ok, nothing stellar or such, but ok to drink when thirsty as first beer of the evening. Went down in less than 5 mins.

Bottle, 5.2%. Good banana note with the standard citric/sour touch of a Dunkelweizen. Cloudy amber colour. Very big stable off-white head. The flavour is OK yeasty with banana and a touch of clove. Citric finish. OK beer, but nothing out of the ordinary.

A good looking beer that doesn’t quite deliver on the taste. Heavily sedimented, the final swirl clouded the weizen to a murky tan/brown with very active carbonation. The creamy head faded to one finger and left minimal lacing on the glass. While beautiful to look at, the taste is nothing but ordinary. Just faint traces of the normal banana/bubble gum. decent but not a 4-star. ALso noted that this is certifie "Bio" in Germany, meaning it is organic.
