Taste comprises bitter sweet pears, oak, tannins, grass, light residual sugars. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close. Solid perry.

Sample thanks to Cloin: Poured a clear with yellow hint bubble heads at edges. Aroma is apples, oaky, funky, fruity. Taste is funky, bitter, apples and pears flow in to cut that, but woodsy oak is there as well.

Bottle from Scrattings. It pours clear green - gold with a vague hint of fizz. The aroma is good funk farmyard snout upfront, then some zingy, tart, tangy pear, juicy orchard fruits, hubba bubba vibes and some oak on the back end. The taste is firmly dry and oaky initially, pear skins, leaves, funk, light tannin, zingy, tart pear, star fruit, hint of lemon sherbet and some barnyard towards the finish with a firm oaky finish. Medium body and a vague hint of fizz. All comes together well. Zingy and moreish. A class Perry.

Thanks Thomas for sharing! Taster showing pale gold with sparse white foam. The nose shows gentle moderate notes of pear. The palate is mildly carbonated and light bodied. Lightly pear forward with some light smoky undertones.

75cl bottle from Appellation Wines. Appearance - pale yellow with gentle but steady bubbles. Light froth on the top. Nose - funky farmyard and pear skin. Taste - sweet pear and lightly sour funk again. Palate - dry and sour through middle and finish. Close to medium bodied. Overall - like it.
