Appearance is clear amber, with a small clingy head. Aroma is toffee, malt, bit of citrus fruit, fruit squash. Taste is malty, wet cardboard, toffee hints, bitter earthy hops at the finish.

330ml bottle - Pours with a light haze, golden colour with a small white head. Aroma is grainy, sweet malts, some spice and floral hop notes. A moderately sweet taste, sweet malts, spicy hop bitterness with some mineral notes. A bit thin, watery and very average.

Bottle at home in Hackney - sourced from Caps and Taps. Pours clear honey-gold with a foamy, white head. Holds moderate sweetness with nice bready, biscuity malts, English yeast, nips of citrus, grass. straw. Light bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly bitter finish, more straw and grass, doughy biscuits. It's a really solid golde.

Bottle from Beer52. Amber-gold with a white head. Digestive biscuits, sweet caramel with a hint of citrus, then minerals in the mildly dry and slightly bitter finish. Too minerally for my liking.

Rocky white head stayed on an unclear amber coloured still body. Malt & citrus aroma. Medium bodied, sharp with a clean back. Malt, sweet orange, spices & grain tastes with a bitter pithy finish.

[33cl bottle from Beer52.] A golden amber pour with a fast fading white head; aroma of summer berries and damp straw; quite lively in the mouth with a berry fruit taste and a persistent bitterness with traces of caramel and spice. Crisp and refreshing, very enjoyable.
