500ml bottle. Gluten Free. Golden blonde colour, white foam head and aroma of malt, grain, grassy. Taste is sweet, malty, grainy, with some straw and grassy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry tangy bitter finish. Quite OK.

Cask at The Chief Justice of the Common Pleas (JDW), Keswick. Blonde colour with a white head. Light fruity, floral flavour with a mild bitterness. Rather weak and watery. It'd be an ok swill on a hot day I guess, but there's not a lot to it.

27/6/2020. Bottle from Beer Cockermouth (beergb.com), and shared with the SHIG at the Cumbrian 20 bottle share. Pours clear pale gold with a small bubbly/frothy white head. Aroma of butter, veg and potato starch. Moderate sweetness and bitterness. Light to moderate body, slight oily and watery texture, average carbonation. Disappointing, especially as the other 3 Ennerdale's we had were pretty decent.

Bottle from Beer Ambleside. Appearance - golden with a nicely proportioned head. Slight hop haze. Nose - floral, light custard and gentle toffee. Taste - lemon, burnt bread and light custard again. Palate - creamy and slightly roasty at the same time. Dry, bitter, but fairly balanced finish. Overall - good.

Bottle from Czerwik, Brighouse. Slightly hazed golden ale with a small head. Has a small fruitiness in both aroma and taste with a light citric bitterness.
