2/6/2020. Sample courtesy of the SHIG, cheers! Pours clear clear golden with a small white head. Aroma of malt, caramel, fruit, grass and light herb. Moderate sweetness and and odd tangy earthy metallic bitterness. Not especially keen on this one.

Can: Poured a light amber with a frothy white head, laced up the glass. Aroma is sulfur and grain. Taste is light bitter with some nice refreshing grains.

[33cl can from the Beer52 NZ box.] A golden amber pour with a thick cream coloured head; grassy aroma; malty body with a grassy taste; and a slightly sour finish with more malt and grass. A straightforward Vienna-style lager.

330ml can: BB Dec 2020. Poured into an old Grimbergen chalice at my parents on 13th Feb 2020. Old gold/amber body, slight haze; on top a fast fading white head. Malty front to the nose and taste, good carbonation, in fact almost 'fizzy'. Light herbal/grassy aroma and flavours as it warms in the glass.

Tight off white head left a creamy cover on a well carbonated dark amber body. Sweet malt & earthy aroma. Medium bodied, smooth on the front with a sharp clean back. Malt, berry & spices to the fore with a tangy, hoppy, grassy back. Good one.
