8/9/2022. Bottle shared by Matt, cheers. Pours clear golden amber with a small bubbly white head. Aroma is crisp apple, woody, lightly funky, earthy, touch of citrus. Medium sweetness, light tartness. Medium body, smooth, very soft carbonation. Nice dryness to start, finishes sweeter. Very nice.

Bottle at home, from Olivers online, 03/05/21. Big old pop on opening the bottle to a very lively pour, although zero gushage, leading to an almost clear orange with a good sized light egg shell white covering. Nose is crisp apple, light floral notes, light spice, tannins, quince. Taste comprises funky apple, caramel, orchard woods, light clove, residual sugars, apple pie. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Solid.

Bottle at home in the garden, lovely sunny day after a long bike ride. A lively hazed deep golden orange coloured pour with a lively white fizz that fades slowly. Aroma is nice dusty apple, woody pear, plastic, bark, hint of funk. Flavour is composed of some sweetness, mellow funky apple, woody dryness, hints of fennel and cinnamon add intrique and depth. Finishes out with a nice crisp woody note and some stewed fruit and mulled cider spice mix. Palate is light sweetness, effervescent, prickly carbonation and nice dry finish. Very good.

75cl bottle. Pours unclear gold, overly lively fast-building white foam on pouring. Aroma presents some nice orchard warmth, pomade, soft funk. Taste is crisp with nice hazed apple funk, fruity caramel, soft tannin with interesting bittersweet swirls, high carbonation that starts to settle. Nice naturally fermented fruitiness that runs throughout. Lovely stuff.

750ml bottle at Tom Oliver Talk & Tasting, Manchester Beer & Cider Festival 2020. Orangey gold colour, foamy white head that quickly dissipates away and aroma of fruity apple, mellow citrus, light funk. Tast is earthy, bittersweet apple, fruity, caramel, sweetish, with woody barnyard funk and lots of drying tannin. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, dry tangy bittersweet finish. Very drinkable.
