Bottle at Del Posto. Pours kinda ugly muddy orange brown. Nose is of sweet malts and fruit stripes gum. Tastes of honey, malt, toffee, artificial fruit flavoring, and some wood. Creamy on palate. Sweet aftertaste.

Bottle shared at the ChrisO Flags of Many Nations Easter Tasting 2013 - London. Pours lightly hazy, deep gold with a creamy white head. Sugary and somewhat doughy malts in the aroma, a bit of honey and toffee. Big sweet flavor with more honey, sugary bread, light yeasty dough, hints of herbs. Medium to full bodied with fine carbonation. Light warmth in the ending with further honey, caramel and bread. Good stuff overall if a tad one-dimensional.

Bottle at Chriso Easter "Flags of many nations" Tasting, as Umbri Cotta 42, 31/03/13 - did I bring this, I normally bring some Italian stuff but my memory fades!?! Lightly hazed mid amber with a thin off white head. Nose is dark malt, sugar, toffee. Taste comprises more of the same, brown sugars, toffee, malt. Medium bodied with bite, soft carbonation. A little on the boring side, drinkable but not one to revisit.

Tasting at ChrisO’s. Hazy amber beer, little pale tan head. Light soft palate, dry. Sugary sweet malt, touch of dried fruits. Light dry finish. Too sweet even for me!

Bottled 330ml (Eataly Genvoa, BB 03/2015)
As "Lurisia 8". Deep amber color, small white head. Berryish (strawberry jam!) aroma with hints of barley. Medium-bodied. Sweet, berryish flavor. Strawberry jam in the taste too and candy-sugar. Low bitterness. Oily, flattish palate. Light yeast notes. I wouldn’t drink this with meat dishes, maybe with cheeses.

Clear amber body. Off-white frothy head, fastly diminishing. Aroma of malts, flowers, perfume ... rather unbalanced. Unbalanced lightly bitter flavour.

Cloudy amber color; presence of yeast under the cap and inside the bottle neck (the bottle has been standing, undisturbed, for years). The aroma present some characterial yeast, light herbs and spices, very light sourness. Smooth mouthfeel (it still has a nice carbonation), with some caramel flavor and a light herbal background; there is some fruity trait, pleasant; the bitterness is low. Pleasant Ale, with some Belgian influences, but also a mild herbal and spicy character.
