Hazy yellow, opaque, large white head. Big citrus, grapefruit, zesty, and pithy. Silly, smooth mouth feel, soft carb. Medium bitter, pithy, and juicy, with a stone fruit finish.

(473ml can from L'Axe du Malt, Quebec City) Pours very hazy dark gold with a decent white head that fades slowly leaving lace. Aroma of dank white grape, citrus peels lead by lime, funky underripe pineapple, green melon, earthy leafy vibes for sure. Flavour is dank underripe peppery pineapple, white grape, lime peel, citrus oil, lean malt, softly fruity yeast, rather mineral, light to moderate bitterness to the peppery dank leafy finish with some lime and grapefruit oils persisting. Light to moderate body, oily, fairly soft carbonation. Solid brew, definitely more peppery and aggressive than some Hautes-Plaines stuff has been recently...still missing that edge though.

A hazed golden ipa with a thick frothy lacing white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with resinous floral hops, light tropical fruits, very nice. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, light mineral notes, pleasant and smooth. Can from Clandestin.

Second of two DDH IPAs I did at their brewery tonight (the other being Petit Chicago). Hazy golden colour with a warm cap and decent lacing. Citrus peel nose with a little spiciness. This spicy note comes out even more in the taste, with the citrusy zest and a nice dry finish. A well-balanced DDH IPA with good citrus bitterness and some nice spiciness. I preferred the Petit Chicago by a touch.

Crowler: Poured a hazy/cloudy yellow color ale with a large white foamy head with good retention and some lacing. Aroma of dank notes with some fresh citrusy and orange notes with nice hoppy floral undertone. Taste is also a mix of residual sugar notes with some fresh citrus notes, light orange juice, light dank notes with some huge hoppy floral notes. Body is full with great creamy flavours and good carbonation. Another enjoyable NEIPA form this fine brewery.
