On tap at Station Ho.st, pours a clear pale copper blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out earthy funk and some saison yeast. Flavour is somewhat tart, with light citrus, sweaty funk and saison yeast. A bit too sweaty but it works.

Bottle, 75cl, at Mondial de la bière Montréal 2015. It’s a hazy, pale golden beer with a creamy off-white head. Some lacing. Fruity, lemony aroma with some oranges, lightly funky and with a touch of malts. It’s tart and full bodied, with a nice carbonation level. Orange, lemon, generic fruits and some yellow plums in the flavor, with a subtle bitterness and a pleasant funkyness. Lasting citrusy finish with some yellow plums and leathery funk. A delicious and refreshing beer I could easily have a few of. 150611

Hazy tan. Phenolic and slightly fruity aroma, with maybe some barrel influence. Tart and sweet, oaky and fruity. Finishes a little bit tart. Fun, new world interpretation of saison.

Draft: Poured a dirty beige color ale with a medium size foamy had with OK retention. Aroma consists of rustic malt with floral and herbal notes. Taste is a complex mix between some rustic malt notes with some floral undertones and light herbal notes. Body is full with limited filtration and good carbonation. Nice mix between complexity and drinkability. I would love to have this beer available to me on a more regular basis.
