Oxford tasting
Brown color. Strong caramel character, sweet, the body is not too thick, the alcohol is evident, nice smoke note.
Good.

341ml bottle at Alex's. Pours a clear dark copper with a weak tan head. Aroma is malty with dark fruit notes and some smoky notes. Taste is moderately to high sweet with dark malts and fruits. Some boozy bitterness. Ok.

330mL bottle, pours a hazy dark brown with a small beige head. Aroma brings out moderate smoke upfront, with toasted bready caramel. Flavour brings out plenty of smoked meat, light caramel, and toasted bready malt. Light brown sugar and plenty of smoked meat on the finish. Very nice.

Medium brown with a touch of haze. Not much head. There's a fairly smoky aroma, and flavour. The smoke dominates, it's a bit fizzier than I might prefer for the style, makes it seem lighter than it is. The malts are nutty, with a just a little bit of toffee. Smoked ice bock...fun.

Bottle: Poured a light hazy copper color beer with a large off-white foamy head with good retention and some good amount of lacing. Aroma of caramelized malt with smooth toffee notes is quite enticing. Taste is a smooth mix of caramelized malt with some dry cereal notes and some light woody notes. Body is light with good carbonation and no apparent alcohol. I wasn’t expecting much since it is not an easy style to master but super well–brewed with just enough complexity and good drinkability.
