Kasteel Blond is beautifully balanced with hop bitters and malty aromas. The hints of fruit from the yeast are reminiscent of citrus fruits. The beautiful balance makes the beer mild in the aftertaste and is therefore an excellent thirst-quencher.

150ml draught at Agenturet Øl og Vinbar. Lacing rings down the glassware from a filmy layer, clear warm golden body. Moderate aromas of mid-sweet dried fruits, carefully spiced. Fine blended, semi sweet taste of oily hops, caramel, and banana yeast. mildly spiced. Smooth, mid-sweet dried fruity ending. Medium bodied. Good drinking. (Tromsø 01.03.2022).

Backlog January 2010. Golden body under a white head. Aroma is light spicy Belgium yeast with some pale malt. Taste is quite sweet, pale malt, Belgium yeast, wheat and spices. Medium body and average aftertaste. Quite plain and straight forward and a bit too sweet.

Flaska från Hopt.se. Klar, ljusgul vätska med medelhögt vitt skum. Lätt doft av jäst och lite estrar. Ganska blek och tunn smakbild, fruktiga estrar och lite jäst, aningen kryddig beska och lätt vaxig eftersmak. Ganska trist men ok.

Pours hazy golden-dark ochre with a quickly dissipating, foamy, white head. Aroma of apple sauce, banana peel, white bread, honey, citrus, soap, faint Brussels sprouts (DMS?). Taste is medium fruity sweet, notes of ripe banana, apricot & apple, quite sugary & yeasty, bit of a perfumey & soapy effect in the back; slight bitter accents of grass & herbs. Dryish, grassy hoppy finish, lingering yeast, spices & soap. Medium body, slick-oily texture, fizzy carbonation. One of those Belgian 'classics' I hadn't had before. Good to know it's dull!

Bottle. Blonde. Sugary aroma with a hint of flowers. Dry, somewhat perfumed grainy flavor. Fairly thin and alcoholic, in spite of the fairly modest ABV. Mediocre.
