Massively citrus, and floral green hop cone hops notes. Peach, and apricot, with some melon. Soft mouth feel, lovely carb. High bitterness, tropical, peach finish, with an intense pithy bitterness.

On tap at Cardinal, Stavanger. Murky greyish-yellow colour, large white head. Aroma of guava and papaya, also over-ripe pineapple. Flavour of said fruits, but not too sweet. A resinous bitterness in the finish.

Notater fra februarmøtet i Mi2, Cardinal. Med denne er vi godt i gang med kveldens program, som vanlig kyndig ledet av seremonimester Melberg: uklar skittengul med eksemplarisk skum helt til bunns. Overmoden ananas, appelsinmarmelade, papaya, granskudd og gress. Mersmak, selv om jeg av og til blir litt lei av denne endeløse flommen av NEIPA'er. Overraskelsene står ikke lenger i kø i denne stilarten.

473ml, 6.5 % abv, bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Plain white head leaving spotty lacing on the glass, opaque golden body. Fresh and inviting floral fruity aromas alongside moments of pineapple. Mixed fruity flavours, traces of lemony hops, pineapple and orange. Smooth fruity ending with a distant bitter touch. Standard neipa, more or less. (Tromsø, 19.01.2025).

Poured from the tap. Cloudy yellow with small white head. Citrus hops, touch of tropical, light resin finish. Not bad.

A hazed milky yellow ipa with a thick frothy lacing creamy white head. In aroma, sweet fruity biscuit malt with citrusy floral hops, grapefruit pulp, tropical fruit, very nice. In mouth, a big hop bomb with a creamy resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, light tropical fruits, very nice and rich. On tap at brewery.

(473ml can from L'Axe du Malt, Quebec City) Pours opaque dingy orange juice with a tight white cap with stability and lace. Aroma of sweet tangerine, dried mango, citrus peels, leafy hops, dank and rather green onion-y, some sweetness. Flavour is semi-sweet up front but with a lot of citrus bitters, leafy greens, melon peels competing with the tropical fruit notes. Finishes bone dry and resinous with a moderate plus bitter bite for style. Light to medium body with soft fairly smooth carbonation. Solid NEIPA but the balance is too far towards the green side for me to truly love this.
