This collaboration with Hunger Moutain Coop of Montpelier Vermont brewed with a blend of fruity citrus, and floral hops known as Cascade, Mosaic, Belma, and Chinook. House made blood orange zest and fresh blood orange juice are used during the brewing process to bring out the unique character and color.

On tap at the Vermont Nanofest 2018. Pours a milky orange with some tight, white head. Nose has oats, honey, orange, grass, herbs. Flavor has vanilla, melon, orange, oats, grass. Bitter, full bodied finish.

A golden amber DIPA with a thin white head. In aroma, sweet fruity malt with light orange pulp, resinous and piney hops, light sulfur notes, OK. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity biscuit malt with resinous floral hops, grapefruit pulp, light orange notes, light dank notes, pleasant. On tap at brewery.

Poured into a tulip, the appearance was a ruddy burnt orange juice color. Quickly dissipating head fizzles into a oblivion. No lacing.
The aroma has a ton of overly sweet orange juice features flowing into a sugary malt. Light grassy hops.
The flavor sticks to the orange juice sweetness, sugary malt comes back pouncing in the aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a cloying stickiness to my tongue. No grip, just heavy sugars coating my tongue. Carbonation feels fine, though.
Overall, another bomb out by Bent Hill. Don’t think I would come back to this.

Bottle shared at Sander stag. Pours hazy dark gold with a frothy, off-white head. Somewhat malty in the nose, with rindy orange, lightly faded pine. Medium sweet flavour with notes of grainy bread, caramel, citrus gummies. Full bodied with average carbonation. Lightly warming in the finish, pretty sweet, with mild toasted caramel, more citrus candies, bready sugars. So so.

Purchased a 750 ml bottle from Hunger Mountain Co-Op. Murky red/ dirty a,her color, with slight lasting head. Aroma is oranges, tangerine, and citrus like pith.
Obvious citrus flavor so with a real nice blood orange juice mixed with a leafy pine hop. Hits of grapefruit with a bitterness that comes through the juice giving a medium length. 8.2 percent ABV is nicely hidden. This is the best brew I have sample from Bent Hill. Willing to try more after this one. Nicely drinkable.
