Sweet roasted malt, chocolate and a hint of fruity hops on the nose. Taste leads with rich balanced elements - European malt with caramel, a touch of dark berries and coffee. Doesn't become overly sweet though. Finishes with a clean but flavourful blend of dark malty tastes.

On tap at the crown and beaver in North Bay Ontario. Dark brown, almost Opaque, with medium sized beige head. Aroma is quite roasty, with solid nutty notes. Nice cereals, very light papery hops. Lovely mouth feel, soft carb. Finish is crisp, clean, and slight dry, with more roast and alot more cereals. Refreshing and quite a nice quaff at lunch.

A reddish copper ale with a thick frothy lacing mocha head. In aroma, sweet fruity caramel malt with light grassy hops, light mineral notes, light burned caramel. In mouth, a nice sweet fruity caramel malt with light mineral notes, light grassy hops, OK. On tap at Brasseurs Du moulin.

Release day for Febrewary 2017, week 2 at the Loon. Pours a hazy dark copper-brown colour with a small head and not much lacing. Roasted malt scent with coffee, chocolate malts and fruity notes like berries, dark fruits. Malty flavours with the burnt malt that is smooth. Fruity with a little molasses. The mouthfeel is a little bitter, dry. Quite a nice easy-drinking Dunkel.
