Oersoep festival. Zomerkwartier, Nijmegen. Lekker fruitig en saison-droog, erg soepel en waterijsachtig verfrissend. Backlog from 2015/08/29.

Keg at Route CBC, CBC Clapham, 02/10/15. Hazed orange amber with a moderate off white covering. Nose is light orange pith, straw, earthy, trace of spice, lemon rind. Taste comprises bitter orange, lemon drizzle, grassy, light funk, balsa wood. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Not a lot going down with this one, drinkable but never really gets out of the parking lot for me.

Craft Clapham. Keg. Route 66 event with most of the London crew. Hazy yellowish gold beer, small white head. Palate is light and fairly minerally crisp. Bitterish orange peel and tangy yellow grapefruit. Pith. Bitter floralness in the light finish. Okay.

Draft at Craft Beer Co. Clapham during Route CBC - London. Pours clearish pale yellow with a light, white foam head. The aroma has some plastic notes up front, followed by lemon peel, herb, pepper, citrus rind. Light sweet flavor, a little tart, with pale grains, light lemony acidity, off plastic. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Tangy lemon in the finish with more burnt plastic notes. Not pleasant, overall. A disappointment.

Tap at Route CBC. It pours cloudy gold with a small white head. The nose is soft, musty, orange toasty grain, citrus peel and grapefruit juice. The taste is crisp, tart, tangy, rather zesty, orange peel, grapefruit, sherbet, straw, funk and light spice. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. The aroma is a bit subdued, but it does taste rather nice. Not bad.

From tap @Oersoep Craft Beer Festival 2015, pale yellow with a full white head. fairly fruity aroma, orange, grapefruit, also sweets from like a mango. Taste of medium sweetness, weak acidic, powdery dry, orange, citrus, grapefruit, thin, metalic-iron taste, medium body, unpleasant in the aftertaste.
