On tap at Festibière de gatineau. Mouth feel is very dry with a strong cereal taste, hay, dried cereals and herbal hop finish. Very clear with thick head and nice lacing. A lot of cereal.

Tap: Poured a clear light brown color ale with a medium foamy head with good retention. Aroma of bitter dry hops with light dry caramel malt notes. Taste is also dominated by bitter dry hops with some dry caramel malt notes. English-style hoppy floral notes are also discernable. Body is fuller then average for style with good carbonation. Enjoyable and more aggressively hopped then the style would usually suggest which is not a bad thing.

Originally rated October 2006 at the brewpub. Pours a clean caramel-amber colour with light carbonation, a good head with above-average retention and lacing. Aromas of hop, but not too crazy, and with hints of a fruity parfume. The texture is grainy. Wow ! Delicious mix of coffee (roasted malt) and bitterness. The hop seems perfect for this one. Very clean aftertaste. Great tasting bitter, which I find is the brewery’s best.

A golden amber ale with a thick frothy off white head. In aroma, fragrant British hops, with nice herbal notes, fresh. In mouth, a nice biscuitty malt with nice peppery hops, very distinguished, light and quaffable. On tap at St-Bock, Nov. 1 2009.
